Prepping your Workspace
Follow the steps below before you begin inoculation.
Mask and Gloves
Put on a mask, then gloves, and spray your gloves with 70% alcohol. Allow them to dry before moving on.
Face mask and disposable gloves
Petri Dishes
Grab your Petri dishes and spray them with 70% alcohol, then place them within your working area.

Agar and liquid culture alongside sanitizing tools
Liquid Culture Syringe
Flame sterilize the tip of your needle. You should do this until you see the needle tip turn red. After, spray the needle with 70% alcohol and place it within your working area.
