Protective Gear
Before prepping your workspace, put on clean clothes, gloves, and a face mask. Spray your hands/gloves with 70% alcohol before touching anything or placing them in your still-air environment.

Sanitizing your workspace
Spray your work area with 70% alcohol and allow it to dry. Alcohol needs at least 30 seconds to sit before it can effectively disinfect a surface. Allowing it to dry instead of wiping it will give the alcohol sufficient time to do its job.

Killing Spores
If you've worked with spores or want to be safe, spray the surface (after it's dry) with 5-30% hydrogen peroxide. Allow it to dry or leave on the surface for at least 10 minutes.

Sanitizing your tools
Spray any tools that will be added to your work area with 70% alcohol before placing them there. Allow them to air dry.

Allow the area to settle
Once everything has been sanitized and placed within the work area, allow things to settle for at least 15 minutes before doing any work.
